Awesome Addition for an Active Family

When we got the call from this family telling us they wanted to build an underground basketball court we were both excited and apprehensive. It’s not every day you excavate an extra 16’ deeper than a typical basement would be. Once we confirmed we wouldn’t hit water at that depth we proceeded with the plans. Nothing was typical with this project but we had the proper teams in place to see it through. Not only was there a basketball court built, but also in the space is a weight training area and an upper level viewing area. Netting can be dropped for baseball season’s pitching practice. On the exterior Span Crete was brought in to support a full paver patio complete with water feature, hot tub, exterior kitchen, fireplace and a room addition all sits on top of the gym space. It is a great space inside and out that the whole family enjoys year round. It was so awesome bringing this family’s dreams to reality!
